In April 2007 the McMaster Cheerleading team went on a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to compete at a cheerleading
competition. On top of an extremely busy year filled with McMaster and Hamilton Ticat football games, competing at Canadian
nationals and a lot of fundraising, this trip was the perfect end to a great year.
This trip wasn’t all fun in the sun
however there was a lot of practicing involved, but it ended up paying off when McMaster Cheerleading took first place in
their division at the competition. Of course you can’t go to the beach with a team of your best friends and not have some
fun. Team bonding was a huge part of this trip and I know many unforgettable memories were made.
